Synopsis

At Rose Cottage Bed & Breakfast, romance is in the air — along with secrets, schemes, and just enough mischief to keep everyone on their toes.

When three spirited female guests arrive at the inn, each brings her own hidden agenda. Waiting for them is Bud Davis, better known as “Bud the Stud,” a silver-tongued senior Casanova who believes every woman who checks in is waiting to fall under his spell. But Bud may have finally met his match.

Things take a wildly funny turn when Bud discovers an untested little pill called “Venusia,” designed to boost the libido of menopausal women. Convinced he has found the secret to romantic success, Bud decides all is fair in love, lust, and highly questionable science.

Unfortunately for Bud, the women of Rose Cottage are nobody’s fools. Once they uncover his deception, they join forces and give Bud a delicious taste of his own medicine, setting off a fast-paced farce full of romantic reversals, physical comedy, and laugh-out-loud consequences.

Sex Please We’re Sixty is a cheeky, audience-friendly comedy for community theatres, dinner theatres, and companies looking for strong roles for mature performers. With its lively B&B setting, senior romance, outrageous complications, and big-hearted humor, this small-cast farce proves that mischief definitely does not retire at sixty.

"Because funny, vibrant and outrageous seasoned actors deserve roles like those in this play!" - Susan Parker
