David and John, two executives at a cosmetic company, send their wives on a shopping spree in N.Y. while they escape to the Oakfield Country Club for a boys’ weekend of golf. However, when their new boss, Ms. Hutchison arrives unexpectedly, they soon discover her golden rule: Any employee found on a golfing trip without his wife, will be out of a job! Panic ensues as they realize there’s only one way out: find temporary weekend wives!  A whirlwind of deception begins as they recruit Tina, the receptionist, to play John’s wife. This leaves poor John stuck being David’s wife! John frantically swaps between male and female personas as the web of lies gets stickier by the minute. When they think they’re about to pull it off, the hotel’s phone system goes down, creating havoc, Tina imbibes too much champagne and the real wives show up to surprise them. Suddenly, their whole charade is on the verge of crashing down around them. In the end, will the truth finally win out in this riotous comedy of errors?
